Wow, what a great turnout! Thank you to everyone who supported State Representative Josh Turek and me. The office was packed with friends, family, and supporters. We're looking forward to ramping up the energy these next eight weeks, and this was an amazing start!
Groundbreaking Ceremony for new mental health hospital

I’ve been open and honest with my connection to mental health awareness, and it informs my campaign every day. I know how important this issue is in my community, and I was proud to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for Council Bluff’s new mental health ceremony on August 27th.
Methodist Jennie Edmundson and Acadia have partnered to bring a new mental health hospital to Council Bluffs that is planned to open in 2026. This facility will have 96 inpatient beds- 24 of which are reserved for children and teens.
Thank you to Methodist Jennie Edmundson and Acadia for this investment in our community. Addressing issues like mental health and addiction are monumental in moving our community forward.

The Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands, Carter Lake, had an awesome new center opening! This beautiful new building was well-planned and will give so many kids and families new opportunities to thrive.
